It’s All Change at the Red Spider Company Website

Ron Wawman writes…

It has been quite a wrench, but at some point in the next week or so and for the first time since the launch of Red Spider Company in December 1997, I will cease to have any active involvement in the work of the Company. It was twelve years ago that, at my request, my son, Tim, designed and launched the website of which I have been the editor without a break since then.  Now advancing years and health problems have led me to reluctantly decide that it is time to step aside and to make way for someone else. Fortunately that someone else turns out to be a man for whose abilities I have the highest regard, my good Red Spider friend, Rees Kenyon.

Understandably, Tim has also decided that this is the right time for him to retire from the technical support he has given unstintingly over the years. Responsibility for the website will no longer be split between two people, as Rees will in fact take on responsibility for all aspects of work on the new website he is now busy creating. Our aim is to make the move to a new site as smooth as possible. The address will remain the same but suddenly, one day when you go online, the site will be “different.” Exactly how different we will all have to wait and see.

I am immensely grateful to my friends in the Company who have given me unwavering support over the years but I am particularly appreciative of the wonderful way in which Tim has promptly and unerringly re-interpreted a stream of e-mails and attachments from me into a series of items on the appropriate webpage.

Thank you and au revoir.
