The Red Spider Company Christmas Party:
To be held on Friday December 12th at the Lewdown Victory Hall.

Lewdown Victory Hall Celebrations:
The whole evening was a great success and very enjoyable for all concerned. Mike Ingham’s play was excellent. A special thank you to Amanda Greenhalgh for producing the wonderful programmes.

Holiday Snaps, a farce by Michael Pertwee and John Chapman, is being performed by the Milton Abbot Players.
Caroline Stuart has some tickets left for the 14th November 2008 show. First come, first serve as they say.
Contact her if you are interested on 01822 870111.

Betrayal, a play by Pinter and Becket is to be performed by the Brown Paper Bag Theatre Company on 13, 14 and 15th November at 7.30pm at Crediton Arts Centre, 22nd November at 7pm and 23rd November at 2.30pm at the Theatre Upstairs at The Globe, Exeter.
It is directed by Anthony Richards and will be ‘an evening of absurd adultery’.

The Red Spider Company have successfully purchased a ‘lorry body’ for storage of all stock (scenery, costumes, etc).
It is sited at Venn farm, has been steam cleaned and is awaiting connection to electricity. Help will be needed for transferring and loading everything and volunteers will be very much welcomed for this.
Please ring Bill Stuart for further information on 01822 870111.

‘Love’s a Luxury’ is to be performed by Red Spider near the end of March 2009. It is an amusing farce (comedy of errors) and will be staged at Lewdown Victory Hall. Rehearsals have begun.

The next AGM will be held at the Cricket Pavilion, Lewdown on Thursday 5th January 2009 at 7.30pm.

A good selection of photographs, from ‘Wind in the Willows’, has been uploaded onto the Red Spider website. Have a look and a laugh.

The DVD of Like a Buoy is still available. It has been re-mastered since the official showing and is awaiting the design and printing of a simple cover but this can be forwarded later to all who wish to obtain the DVD now. It is a double disk package and is priced at £7.50 per set. Please contact Caroline Stuart on 01822 870111 if you wish to purchase a copy.

A membership form can be downloaded by clicking here; we would be pleased if all those who would like to become members would fill this in and return it to Bill Stuart. We are very pleased that many have already done so.
