Young Farmers Group Drama Competition – Director Producer Needed

We have been approached by a local Young Farmers Group, as they hope to enter a drama competition. They are looking for someone to direct/produce, but they do have plenty of willing actors. They are, however, lacking someone to pull it all together.

The first stage of the competition is in February 2020, and the chosen play needs to be 30 minutes duration, which must include setting up/ props etc. The cast must include a minimum of 8 actors, but other than that, the rules are flexible. They are thinking along the lines of something humorous.

So, is there a budding or an established director/producer who would like to guide and assist Young Farmers?

It would certainly be a “first’ for RSC, but could also lead to increased membership, especially younger people. Good publicity and goodwill never goes amiss!

Anyone interested? Indeed, it would be the sort of activity, where more than one Spider could be involved, sharing out the responsibilities.
